John Dale Moore, 80, of Kirklin and formerly of Sheridan, passed away Thursday evening, Nov. 15, 2018 at Riverview Health in Noblesville.

Born April 2, 1938 in Westfield, he was the son of the late Leon and Mary (McNeely) Moore.

Mr. Moore graduated from Westfield High School with the Class of 1957 and worked for Truss Manufacturing as a truck driver and dispatcher for more than 30 years.

On July 7, 1972, he married the love of his life Linda (Anthon) Moore.

He loved going to auctions, but when there weren't any nearby by that piqued his interest, garage sales were the next best thing. He also had a deep love for his family, especially his grandson, and for fishing; and not always in that order. Any day he got to go fishing was a good day; and if he got to do it with his grandson, well . . . it was an even better one.

Survivors include his wife Linda Moore; a daughter, Sheryl (Doug) Loudermilk of Westfield; his grandson, Christopher Loudermilk of Westfield; a brother, Wayne (Joan) Moore of Greenfield; and two sisters, Peggy (Gary) Fulton of Sheridan and Patty Moore of Avon.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Darryl Moore; and by his sister, Jane Noe.

No services are being planned at this time.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Kercheval Funeral Home in Sheridan.
