Curtis William Biddle, 53, Sheridan, passed away Thursday morning, Oct. 18, 2018 surrounded by his family at his sister's home in Indianapolis.

Born June 25, 1965 in Noblesville, he was the son of Dwain V. Biddle and Cheryl M. (Young) Biddle-Johnson.

He grew up in Sheridan and attended Sheridan High School. One of the nicknames he garnered over his life was "Mighty Mouse." That may have come from his favorite cartoon, but fit him to a tee just the same. His sister affectionately referred to him as "Mr. Funny Man." Mr. Biddle was a man of courage and determination, and a fighter in just about every sense of the word.

Never one to shy away from hard work, he was a truck driver for various moving companies for the last 30 years. He worked with Allied Moving and Storage for the last decade. He was also a dedicated member of Thompson Road Christian Church, where he was involved with many of their community projects.

Mr. Biddle had a real love for sports; especially target shooting and NASCAR. He followed the Earnhardts' -- both Junior and Senior -- careers like it was his job. However, all other distractions, life events, family commitments, even TV programs that were currently being watched by someone else would come to a grinding and very abrupt stop when Thursday Night Football was on. It didn't matter one iota what else was going on at the time. When it was time for Thursday Night Football, IT WAS TIME FOR THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL!!! He loved his Colts, as long as they were winning, and sometimes even when they didn't. He also enjoyed getting in a quick camping trip whenever he could find the time.

Survivors include his father Dwain Biddle and step-mother Vicki A. Biddle of Avon; three sons, Brandon Vandamme, Austin Vandamme and Chance Bishop, all of Indianapolis; his step-son, Seth Vandamme of Veedersburg; two daughters, Skilar Vandamme and Caroline Bishop, both of Indianapolis; four brothers, Dwain Biddle, Jr. and Lonnie Biddle, both of Pensacola, Fla., Justin Biddle of Indianapolis and Matthew Biddle of Chicago; one sister, Lesia Biddle of Indianapolis; and one grandchild on the way.

He was preceded in death by his mother; his daughter, Chyenne Biddle; and by his step-father, Harry L. Johnson.

Services are scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2018, at Kercheval Funeral Home, 306 E. 10th St. in Sheridan. Family and friends may pay their respects from 4 p.m. until the time of service. Pastor Anthony Slutz will be officiating.

Memorial contributions may be presented to Kercheval Funeral Home, P.O. Box 42, Sheridan, Ind. 46069, to help with funeral expenses.
