Courtney Brooke Little, 28, Arcadia, went to be with the Lord on Friday evening, Oct. 30, 2020 after a long and hard fought battle with depression and various other demons in her life.
Born Nov. 21, 1991 in Noblesville, she was the daughter of Barry Lee Smith and Polly Jayne (Little) Luttrell.
She attended Ben Davis High School until transferring in 2008 to Options Charter School in Noblesville, where she proudly graduated with the Class of 2010.
Family was everything to Courtney. She was currently living with her father, and that seemed to be a perfect fit. They both loved watching movies and neither of them liked watching them alone, so it made for an ideal living situation. Ms. Little also liked to travel. She always looked forward to her family's camping trips with her mom, stepdad, and brother Dustin. Yellowwood State Forest was always a favorite destination. When it was time to burn off some energy and relax a little, going shopping with mom seemed to be just what the doctor ordered. She also enjoyed going bowling with friends.
Survivors include her father, Barry Lee Smith; mother and step-father, Polly and Jerry Luttrell; daughter, Aaliyah Marie Meyermann of Mooresvile; brothers, William Smith of Sheridan and Dustin Little of Clermont; sisters, Teresa (Fleix) Akineymi of Noblesville, Carrie (Brandon) Luttrell of Columbus, Laura Smith of Arcadia and Amber Lydon of Noblesville; nephew, Damien Lydon of Sheridan; niece, Keira Akineymi of Noblesville; maternal grandmother, DeeAnn Little of Sheridan; and maternal grandfather, Martin J. (MaBeth) Little of Arizona.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Ralph Leon and Doris Jeanne (Ridge) Smith; and by her uncle, Brian Scott Smith.
Private services are being held for family and close friends. A public Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.
Memorial contributions may be presented to Kercheval Funeral Home, P.O. Box 42, Sheridan, Indiana 46069, to help defray funeral expenses.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Kercheval Funeral Home in Sheridan.
