One of the purchases made for the new museum located in downtown Sheridan is a loom. Over the last year or so, several Sheridan Historical Society members have taken the time to learn to weave and the result has been several small rugs and table-toppers. Sizes are in the range of 2 feet by 3 feet, and the fabric textures and colors are varied.
The museum has several of these available for sale and prices range from $15 to $25 each. If you are interested in buying one or more, please come by the museum any Tuesday or Friday afternoon between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. and we will be glad to accommodate your purchase.
And if you are interested in trying your hand at weaving, we can probably make that happen, too.
