Sheridan residents, listen up! There is a winter weather advisory in effect beginning at 1 a.m. tonight and going until 7 p.m. Thursday. A mixed bag of snow and ice is expected. And while the snow may only total two inches or less, a tenth-of-an-inch of ice could hit the town.

If that happens, there could be issues with power lines and certainly road conditions.

Sheridan should plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning and possibly evening commute Thursday. The snow will likely impact most of central Indiana. Freezing rain could fall, mostly south of Interstate 70 but certainly some could hit Sheridan and Hamilton County.

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Expect slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
