When the weather turns warmer, good things just seem to happen more often.

In Sheridan, one of those is the opening and expanded hours at the Boxley Cabin. Visitors can now stop by for a tour. Located in Veterans Park at the north edge of Sheridan, the cabin is the rebuilt 1829 home of Sheridan’s founder George Boxley.

For now the cabin is open on Tuesdays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., but hours will be added as the the warmer temperatures increase. Cabin tour hours will be posted in the window of the new museum located at 315 S. Main Street in beautiful uptown Sheridan.
